Our Story!
In 1987, co-owners Patty Wirth and Bridget Thordarson opened a franchise called Heidi’s Frozen Yogurt store at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, California. Then in 2002 they decided to sell ice-cream along with their frozen yogurt to become Heidi’s Frozen Yogurt and Swensen’s Ice-Cream.
In 2006, they branched off and became their own independent business. They call themselves Ice Cream & Yogurt On The Boardwalk, and continue to sell in the same location in Shoreline Village Shopping Center, Long Beach, Ca. Despite the name change, they continue their delicious items that still satisfies their customers year after year!
